Jose Manuel Alban Juarez
He was born in Szczecin, where he graduated from 1st and 2nd grade music schools in the percussion class. He made his debut in his father’s Latin band; Son Latino. In 2000, he moved to Warsaw to continue his education at PSJ at ul. Bednarska and he started working with Reinaldo Ceballo and the band Calle Sol, with whom he recorded and toured until 2005, taking part in numerous festivals and music programs. In 2003, he joined the band Maanam, playing dozens of concerts in Poland and abroad and recording a number of singles and the lp „Special characters”.
In the last fifteen years, as a drummer and percussionist he has performed and recorded with many bands and artists representing various musical styles, among others: Kora Jackowska („Kora Ola Ola”), Krzesimir Dębski, Trio Andrzej Jagodziński, Tomasz Stańko, Zbigniew Namysłowski , Grażyna Auguścik, Ewa Bem, Wojciech Waglewski, Antonina Krzysztoń, Bisquit, Krzysztof Knittel, Maciej Zielinski, Komety, Hurt, Zakopower, Bel Air, Los Payos, Łona i Webber, Fisz i Emade (Plastic), Natural Dread Killaz, Mc Marika, Marita Albán Juárez, Jan Komar, Natu & Envee, Magdalena Navarrete, Noche de Boleros, Ania Dąbrowska, Paulina Przybysz, Pinnawela, Kazana / Twister / Alban-Juarez, Stańko / Smolik (Peyotl), Etopiryna, Capitalistas, Młynarski plays Młynarski , Ritmodelia, Novika, Miuosh, Wini, Eldo, Mesaiah, Motrip, Oszibarack, JIMEK. He often participates in experimental music projects, cooperating with DJs / producers, e.g. Unoumi, Catz & Dogs, Envee, Noon, Dj Falcon1, Dj Twister. He is currently associated with bands; Łona, Webber & The Pimps, Marita Albán Juárez Quartet, Ten Type Mes live band, Antonina Krzysztoń band and SalsaCentral salsa collective.
