PROGRAM of the FESTIVAL

The 2nd edition of CORNO – Brass Music Festival goes with 24 great artists and over 70 participants of international music workshops. We invite soloists, chamber music and orchestral musicians, tutors and music academy professors from the most influential culture cities in Poland, Europe and the world. 6 main concerts, lectures, mental and health trainings, as well as an international exhibition of brass instruments will take place in many different venues.

All orchestral brass instruments will be presented during this concert. French horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba artists will perform solo and with piano. Special guest will be winner of the 3rd Prize of the 8th International Brass Instruments Competition in Gdańsk 2017 and 3rd Prize of the Prague Spring International Music Competition 2018.

Virtuoso Horn Duo – consists of Kerry Turner – the world-famous French horn player and composer, creator of the legendary American Horn Quartet and Kristina Mascher-Turner, former solo horn in Brussels Philharmonic, Vice President of the International Horn Society, privately wife of Mr. Turner.

Hornet Quartet – one of the most active horn quartets in Poland. Winners of the 1st Prize of horn quartet competition during the International Horn Symposium in Natal / Brasil.
